windshield, seal or not to seal
« on: Oct 31, 2014, 03:08:57 PM »

Im almost ready to put my headliner in and have been watching videos to install the front and rear windows. Half of them put some sort of sealer in the rubber groove that goes over the pinchweld  opening, and the other half don't use anything. I have also seen one that put sealer in the glass groove after the glass was installed. I have installed old vw bug windows before and never used sealer with no ill effects. Whats the proper way to install them so I can do it right the first time, thanks for your time and efforts.

I never installed any before but I would think it can't hurt to use the sealer in order to make installation easier and for a good seal.
