Swapping 157t bellhousing for a 168t (V8)

I've currently got a C4 behind a 289 Windsor in my 1960 Aussie Falcon using a period 157t flexplate bellhousing, which fits in the transmission tunnel using lowered engine mounts.

I'm going to swap it with a local Borg-Warner 4-speed for which there are only 164t flywheel bellhousings, but am not sure of the size difference.

Is a 164t bellhousing that much bigger than a 157t bellhousing, and does anyone have any experience squeezing one in an early Falcon?
